'Design is' is a concept that started out with a single wallpaper created by J. Hicks. The wallpaper had no apparent message. But soon enough web designers from all over the Web hooked up and made their own wallpapers with various messages continuing the fraze J.Hicks started. And soon enough 'Design is' became a trend. The idea snowballed, and a public group was created on Flickr.
Below is the round-up of 'Design is' wallpapers I personally admire. Hope you'll find them inspirational for yourselves as well, and maybe create one of your own. Or at least give your own definition of what DESIGN IS and inspire somebody else with it to create a wallpaper!
