Web Designs with Coffee Aroma

How do the Top Coffee Brands websites smell?

Most of us start their day with a cup of coffee to wake up. A lot would go on stimulating themselves with a few more cups through the day. Few would drink coffee to fall asleep. Since 9th century AD when coffee was supposedly discovered coffee has grown to be the world’s second most traded commodity after oil. More than 400 billion cups are consumed each year and the coffee market earns nearly sixty billion dollars annually!

On November 17 2008 CNBC.com published "The Top Coffee Brands" in the US based on store sails. As a true coffee addict digging web design I got interested in what online representation have the most known coffee brends, as most of the big businesses are competing online as well as in real life.

Below is the collection of Top Coffee Brands websites for you to get inspired. Or don't.

Nah....such companies can't afford a better design? They all look similar to me...maybe one of the designers that were interviewed will offer them something better

Brad and Ray, Thanks for the suggested coffee brands. For this post I picked the websites of the brands named by CNBC.com as the top ones in the US based on store sails, so the choice wasn't really based on my preference of coffee. But it's nice to know other brands as I've never heard of those, to be honest. Shall give it a try!

Gimme! Coffee's site is pretty good too, although a little too e-commerce-y for my tastes: http://www.gimmecoffee.com/

My vote would have to go to Tully's it has a clear layout, no gimmicks, and the design elements are a perfect representation of coffee.

Okay, the sites look really good, especially the one with the pic of a cup full of some creamy frothy coffee. Just makes me want to go and have some coffee right now.
