Christmas just isn't Christman without holiday movies. Since the film industry started, the Hollywood has produced a great number of Christmas movies and keeps doing so. And each movie is accompanied with overwhelming advertising campaign including bright and eye-catchy movie posters that make us want to buy the DVD and watch the movie wrapped in a warm blanket.

The Polar Express (2004) - A Magical train takes a boy and other children who stop believing in Santa Claus up north to meet the man himself.

 

All I Want For Christmas (1991) - Two kids plot to reunite their estranged parents at Christmas.

 

Christmas in Wonderland (2007) - What happens when the Christmas duties fall on Dad and the gloomy kids.

A Christmas Story (1983) - All Ralphie wants for Christmas is a Red Ryder BB gun.

 

Edward Scissorhands (1990) - The story of a man named Edward, an unfinished creation, who has scissors for hands and falls in love with the local teenage daughter. On Christmas.

 

Gremlins (1984) - Don't wet your Christmas present. And don't feed it after 12 a.m.

 


Love Actually (2003) - Britons, including the prime minister, seek love as Christmas approaches.


Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) - The story of Jack Skellington, a being from "Halloween Town" who opens a portal to "Christmas Town".

 

The Santa Clause 2 (2002) - Santa is looking for a Mrs Clause.

 

It's a Wonderful Life (1946) - Classic tale, climaxing at Christmas, of a man who gets to see what his hometown would be like if hadn't leaved.

 


The Grinch (2000) - Creepy green creature wants to ruin the holidays.

 

Elf (2003) - A human, raised at the North Pole and thinking he's an elf, searches for his family in New York.

 

What Would Jesus Buy? (2007) - Documentry about the commercialization of Christmas.

 

Miracle on 34th Street (1947) - Macy's Santa, with help from the U.S. Postal Service, restores little girl's faith.

 

Santa's Slay (2005) - In this horror/comedy movie it is revealed that Santa Claus is actually a demon who lost a bet with an Angel, but when the bet is off, he returns to his evil ways.

 

One Magic Christmas (1985) - At Christmas time an angel shows a young mother the true meaning of the holiday season.

 

White Christmas (1954) - Two song-and-dance acts bring Irving Berlin's lyrics to Vermont lodge on Christmas Eve of 1944.

 

Serendipity (2003) - How far can a single coincident take? John and Sara meet when they both reach for the same pair of gloves, which they are buying to be Christmas presents.
