How did you get into web design?

A few years ago when I wanted to make a flash website to show my photography work. It was a very good revelation about my creative capabilities.

Do you remember the very first site you designed?

Sure, I never forget the past, it was my first website www.zordum.com, it looked very good to me, of course it wasn't, at the time I was a beginner.

What is your specialization?

I don't know for sure, time will answer to that question.

Where do you get your art for these webpages?

I get it from almost everything I see, good and bad stuff, I think the art comes from learning to think about the world, nature has a important role in the creative process. All the graphic concepts came from my end.

What will be the next big development in webpage design?

I don't know for sure, maybe the integration of CMS with Flash.

Have you ever worked with website templates?

Until now I never worked with website templates, but there is always a first time for everything.

What do you think about Flash technology?

I think it's a great technology, with the ActionScript3 it will be a real object oriented programming language.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using Flash?

The advantages are the great animation background, sound and video broadcasting, 3D integration, etc. The disadvantage I can see is the required high broadband connectivity.

What are your sources of inspiration?

Like I said before almost everything I see, nature has a very important role in the creative process for me, it's all there.

What are your favorite website designs that you did and did NOT design yourself?

My favourite website is www.berdber.com. The ones I didn't design are www.triworks.net, http://www.bellecour.fr/ and http://www.gettheglass.com/.

What was the toughest project or customer situation you've encountered?

Until this date I haven't had a toughest project, I'm always providing for clients' desires, that's the only block I see in the creative process.

What are your interests and dislikes in webpage design?

I like graphics with strong sense of communication, instead of those with greater sense of design and animation but without fundamental sense of communication.
