Nathan Heleine is a web designer based in Brooklyn, NY. A musician himself, Nathan founded Boom Design Group studio a few years ago and has been building elegant websites and fancy video installations for other creative people ever since. His passion for music combined with love for design seem to have worked out just right altogether ? Boom Design Group websites are highly usable and have a distinct extravagant design style being the sources of inspiration for both ? their owners and users. So, I asked Nathan for an interview.

Shannon Darrough is a website designer employed by the famous Museum of Modern Art in New York City, NY. He is not well known beyond museum circles, but his very aesthetic work is specialized in design and maintenance of the museum's Flash subsites - at MoMA.org - for which he has several commendations. The creative process has some twists and turns no matter what medium you work in. Web design has the dimension of a commissioned work. In creating a commissioned work the patron or buyer needs input, but it isn't always easy to integrate into a beautiful and functional work of design.
