Motion in graphics - the way of the future? It seems so. Motion is probably seldom necessary for informational purposes unless the motion is itself being explained, but motion is interesting and/or aesthetic - and that makes a big difference in viewer experience. Flash, video and interactive take a lot of skill to do well on a webpage. I recently saw an impressive portfolio of graphics and motion at the website YamoDesign.com, owned by Yamo. I asked Yamo for an interview.

Ben Cline's experience with web design is based on his love to traditional drawing and painting, natural science, and digital art. Interested in graphics and motion, Ben calls himself a new media designer saying that ?web is the broadcast medium and will only continue to grow as one much like television.

Graphics aren't everything in webpage design. But in the visual world of the internet, graphics are a major part of any webpage design project. One designer who is heavily involved in illustration and graphic design is Maksim Marcenkevic of Runkid.at. I asked Max for an interview about his work and experiences in design - his answers follow:

Worldwide there are a lot of webpage designers that use web templates in their regular projects. I recently communicated with Bradley Love in Zaire - you can see his website at Hostit.co.za. Bradley gave me a brief interview despite his current work load.
